Our friends at the "Southern Food & Beverage Museum" are holding a fundraiser dinner on April 23rd at Commander’s Palace in New Orleans. Here are the details:

Commander’s PalaceThe drinking of Madeira and its connoisseurship has a long history in the American colonies until the Civil War. The Rare Wine Company is introducing its New Orleans Special Reserve at a specially prepared dinner at Commander’s Palace on April 23, 2007. The dinner will feature the Rare Wine Company’s selections of champagne, Charleston Sercial, red wine and the New Orleans Special Reserve. The gathering begins at 6:30 pm with dinner at 7:00 pm. Reserve your place. Seating is limited.
The cost for this event is $185 per person, $100 of which is a tax deductable donation to the "Southern Food & Beverage Museum". You can find more information on their website, as well as a Ticket Order Form (PDF).
