Southern Food & Beverage Museum finds a home

The Southern Food & Beverage Museum is an organization that we (The Museum of the American Cocktail) have had a great relationship with over the years. Like us, they are dedicated toward the discovery, understanding, and celebration of type of cuisine, and its history. Our focus is naturally cocktails; theirs is one of the rich and fascinating history of the broad range of Southern Cuisine and all of its facets. Also like us, they have roots in New Orleans, and can think of no better place to expose people to their works.

The Southern Food & Beverage Museum recently announced that after spending 2 1/2 years trying to find the right location, they have finally found a permanent home for their collection. It will take at least a year of planning and construction, but they will eventually display their exhibits for all to see at “The Contemporary Arts Center” at 900 Camp Street, in downtown New Orleans.

We congratulate them on the completion of their journey, and wish them the best of luck!
