NY Vodka Cup

Results of the New York Vodka Cup competition, sponsored by Finlandia Vodka, November 27th, 2007

Winner:
Erin Williams, Pegu Club

Cocktails:
Before DinnerVeiled Lady

  • 2 ounces Finlandia Lime Vodka
  • 3/4 ounce agave syrup
  • 3/4 ounce lime juice
  • 1/2 ounce triple sec
  • 3 dashes Angostura bitters.

Garnish with a lime wheel and served up.

Long DrinkAsta

  • 1 1/2 ounce Finlandia Grapefruit Vodka
  • 1/2 ounce St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur
  • 3/4 ounce grapefruit juic
  • 3 slices muddled cucumber

served on the rocks with salted rim and a cucumber and flower garnish.

After DinnerLavender Blonde

  • 1 1/2 ounces Finlandia Vodka
  • 3-4 chunks muddled pineapple
  • 6-8 muddled blueberries
  • 1/4 ounce Monin blueberry syrup

Strain, serve up, top with dry champagne, garnish with wedge of pineapple and three bluberries.

Mango Marlini
Finlandia Mango, mango rum, triple sec, lime juice, and mango puree, garnished with an orange wedge

Jonathan Pogash, Hospitality Holdings
Lapland Aperitif
Finlandia Grapefruit, Tuaca, Elderflower Syrup, ginger root cubes, Korbel brut, rosemary sprig, garnished with edible flower and serve muddled and strained into a martini glass.
